Regions are represented by the FHFA metropolitan areas that cover them: Oakland–Fremont–Berkeley (Alameda & Contra Costa counties), Stockton–Lodi, and Sacramento–Roseville–Folsom. An index measures the change in prices of repeat transactions across a whole metro; it is not the value of any individual property and past movement does not predict future results. For an opinion of value on a specific address, request a valuation.
Not sure which market you are actually in?
Plenty of moves cross regions — selling in the Bay Area and buying in the Valley, or the reverse. We handle both sides.
